Office of Information Technology


The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides quality, cost-effective information technology for DNRC to fulfill its mission.OIT works to optimize existing technology and implement new technologies that will improve productivity, manage costs, and meet the business needs of the agency. It provides network and client support, application development, data and systems management, and GIS development services, as well as coordinating DNRC operations with the State Information Technology Services Division (SITSD).

The OIT group is led by Chief Information Officer Kreh Germaine.

Applications Development

The Applications Team creates, maintains and supports DNRCs software solutions as well as its websites. It is comprised of both software engineers and web developers and provides internally and externally facing solutions.

Data & Systems

The Data and Systems Team is responsible for the set-up and support of the databases and servers used to hold and deliver DNRC's digital data. The group is made up of Database Admins, System Engineers and Programming staff.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

The GIS Team supports the agency and state's need for analyzing and rendering spatial data. The developers, and analysts of the group provide technical and cartographic services internally and externally and maintain DNRC's historical imagery.

Technical Services

Technical Services provides work station hardware and software solutions and support for all DNRC employees. The Network Admins are also responsible for controlling user permissions and ensuring network security.
