About the Montana Conservation Seedling Nursery

The Montana Conservation Seedling Nursery is part of the Montana DNRC and is overseen by the Legislature.  We receive no tax dollars and are completely funded by the sales of our seedlings and plants.

Our Mission is to provide plants for conservation projects that occur throughout the State of Montana.

We provide containerized and bareroot stock that is derived from locally adapted and source identified seed. We provide seedlings for private landowners; county conservation districts; government agencies; conservation organizations; and the forestry industry throughout the State of Montana.
