Water Conservation Specialist Position Open (CSKT Compact)

Looking for professional development and an opportunity to have a positive impact on the Flathead Reservation? The Flathead Reservation Water Management Board invites qualified individuals to apply for the Water Conservation Specialist position. Based in Ronan, Montana, the Water Conservation Specialist will play an important role in implementing the historic agreement between the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and the State of Montana to jointly administer water rights on the Flathead Reservation. Domestic Allowance Interim Process (CSKT Compact)

The Board is establishing an interim system to process Individual and Shared Domestic Allowances until the Office of the Engineer is staffed. If you have not constructed a groundwater well you may apply for authorization to construct a well beginning June 1, 2022. Please go to the Interim Process for Certain Water Rights page for application forms and additional information.  

Substitute Well Notice Interim Process (CSKT Compact)

The Board is establishing an interim system to process Substitute Well Notices until the Office of the Engineer is staffed. Beginning June 1, 2022, you may submit a Substitute Well Notice to the Board. Please go to the Interim Process for Certain Water Rights page for application forms and additional information.
