Public Notice Resource Conservation Advisory Council Meets February 23
HELENA, Mont. — The Resource Conservation Advisory Council (RCAC) will hold its next meeting February 23, 2022, at Lubrecht Experimental Forest in Greenough. The meeting will take place from 9 am-12 pm. A virtual option will be available.
The Council will review 223 grant applications and make funding recommendations for DNRC to approve. There will also be a review and discussion about the Council’s statutory duties and purpose, and the Conservation Districts Bureau’s grant programs including the grant program guidelines, application, and ranking criteria.

In the afternoon, there will be a closed session for the Council and the Conservation Districts Bureau (CDB) to work on strategic planning. To provide input into the Bureau’s plan contact Stephanie Criswell.
The RCAC is composed of seven governor-appointed conservation district supervisors that advise DNRC’s CDB on programs and activities related to conservation entities.
To participate via zoom, email Katherine Certalic at Kcertalic@mt.gov with your name and a request. Instructions will be sent for joining and participating in the meeting by 5 p.m. the day before the meeting. Written comments may be emailed to CDB staff and forwarded to the Council.
